Queen’s house - camera platform
This was an interesting project I worked on for the 2012 Olympic Games. I was involved all the way from the initial site survey, all the way to supervising the assembly on site. I took survey dimensions, developed a design and consulted a structural engineer who ran calculations for the required ballast weight and cantilever. Then I had all the components cut/ machined and ordered. I took the parts to the powder coaters, then I did a final test assembly in our workshop to ensure everything worked correctly before then taking it to site myself in a large van, where I then supervised the assembly on site.
